Staff Scientist

Priya’s broad training is in the areas of systems biology, genetics and ex vivo biochemistry. As an experimentalist, she is experienced in integrating reductionist biochemical and genetic with systems-level network approaches to achieve both targeted gene/protein-level and broader contextual understanding of complex interactions that govern distinct tumor responses. She is excited about applying her knowledge and skillset towards deepening our understanding of how the tumor microenvironment drives T-cell dysfunction and exploiting this knowledge to engineer T-cells that resist exhaustion as part of tumor immunotherapy.
